PROMOTION & SALES OF PRODUCTS MADE BY TRIBES OF INDIA
TRIFED, under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, aims to improve the livelihoods of indigenous tribal communities by creating markets and innovative business opportunities for their skills and products. Under the brand 'Tribes India', TRIFED sells tribal handicrafts and handloom products through over 110 retail stores and e-commerce platforms. The organization has also developed an international e-commerce portal, www.tribesindia.org, offering a wide range of products. This portal features a broad spectrum of product categories, including Dhokra/metal craft, Longpi pottery, tribal textiles, paintings, jewelry, natural fibers and produce.
