Public Advisory Against Fraudulent Social Media Handles and Email IDs

It has been brought to the notice of the Embassy that some people are cheating innocent Indian nationals by sending messages and collecting money for  arranging their travel from Saudi Arabia to India through the twitter handle “[at]embassy_support” and email ID “ind_embassy.mea.gov[at]protonmail.com”. All Indian nationals residing in Saudi Arabia are hereby informed that Embassy of India, Riyadh has no relations whatsoever with the twitter handle “[at]embassy_support” and email ID “ind_embassy.mea.gov[at]protonmail.com”. All the official email IDs, Twitter handle, Facebook ID, telephone numbers etc of the Embassy of India are mentioned on our website https://www.eoiriyadh.gov.in/. All are advised to cross verify with the Embassy website thoroughly to avoid falling into the trap laid by unscrupulous elements. Kindly note that all the Indian Missions email IDs always end with domain [at]mea.gov.in
