Press Release on Arrival of INS Talwar at the Jubail Port

PRESS RELEASE

       As part of the growing Defence Cooperation between India and Saudi Arabia, Indian Navy Ship (INS) Talwar has arrived at the Jubail Port on 03 April, 2021.  This port call by the Indian Frigate underscores the deep-rooted friendly ties and multi-faceted cooperation between India and Saudi Arabia, and will further strengthen interoperability aspects between the two Naval forces.

2.    The ship on arrival was received by Indian Embassy officials, representatives of the Eastern fleet of Royal Saudi Naval forces and Border Guard officals.  The ship during its stay at the port will be following all laid down COVID-19 protocols and utilising the time for training and maintenance.

3.    INS Talwar has been deployed in the Gulf region for safe passage of Indian merchant ships and is testimony to the India Government's commitment towards safety of all Indian flagged merchant vessels.
