PUBLIC NOTICE

The Government of India has launched “Su-Swagatam” Mobile App to facilitate visitors intending to visit India. The app acts as one-stop solution to all requirements of foreigners visiting India. The services offered comprise:

1. Single point access for Indian visa related services in India under e-FRRO module (visa extension, visa conversion, exit-permit, etc. in India);

2. Facility to check visa application status (eVisa & regular visa) with option to download Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), if approved;

3. Essential information links pertaining to FRROs, Embassies, medical facilities, safety & security authorities, etc.;

4. Weekly alerts regarding expiry of visas;

5. e-Submission of ‘Form C’ (registration requirement for foreigners at hotels and other accommodation facilities);

6. Fast track immigration under the Trusted Travellers Program (FTI-TTP) for OCI cardholders;

7. Language assistance – text & audio (using Google trial version);

8. Visa-on-arrival form filling facility in Arabic, Japanese & Korean;

9. Facilitation in filling visa application forms with multilingual support in 13 foreign languages, eligibility and fee calculator, integrated authorized payment gateways;

10. Location based services like nearest tourist spots, hotels, authorized Indian hospitals, transport, entertainment, health & wellness services, premiere Yoga institutions, spirituality programs, etc.;

11. Information on potential Business Prospects in India as well as Government of India’s initiatives for Ease of Doing business in India;

12. Emergency services and contact helpline for foreigners during their stay in India;

13. Information about Income tax, customs, foreign exchange rules for foreigners and non-residents;

14. Chatbot facility for FAQs and general guidelines.
